Shopper Payment Policy
At ACE Mystery Shopping, we ensure timely and transparent payment for all our shoppers. Below is an overview of our payment process and policies.
Payment Methods

2. Direct Deposit (ACH)
When your first payment is processed, you will receive an email prompting you to select your preferred payment method. If you choose direct deposit, you will need to provide your bank account information at that time. Once your payment method is set up, all future payments will be processed automatically.
Melio does offer a virtual card option, but DO NOT select this as your payment method. Virtual cards are intended for businesses using a POS (Point of Sale) system, and they will NOT work for shoppers in the way you might expect. Be sure to choose either paper check or direct deposit instead.

Pay Policy
- Shopper Pay Rates:
Shopper pay varies depending on the client and/or type of shop. Pay typically ranges between $10 and $50 per shop, based on factors such as shop type, difficulty, survey length, and required equipment. Higher-paying shops may require special video equipment or specific demographic qualifications.
- Reimbursements:
You will always be reimbursed for any required purchases made to complete a shop. Reimbursement details will be provided in the shop instructions.
Payment Schedule
Payments are processed monthly. Here’s how it works:
- Payments for the previous month’s shops are processed by the 15th of each month.
- Payment processing begins during the first week of the month, so most shoppers receive their payments earlier.
- For example: If you complete a shop on March 15th or 20th, your payment will be processed no later than April 15th, with many payments arriving sooner.
